Intonation’s Community
About Our Partnerships
Intonation works closely with Organic Oneness, an organization that supports our community and staff. Our full staff is invited, and many attend the Be The Healing Conference annually as a cornerstone of our professional development. Intonation participates in all community events hosted by Organic Oneness, and they are present at our events. Organic Oneness has participated in Intonation-hosted events which have included Intonation’s annual youth arts fest, Mixtape Live, and community clean-up events such as the Ellis Park Back to School event. With New Community Outreach, Intonation has organized training in peace circles through a racial healing initiative with the state of Illinois.
Additionally, Intonation has been named as Core Organization in partnership with My CHI. My Future. In partnership with MCMF, we work to ensure that every young person in Chicago connects to a variety of rich, engaging, safe, and youth-centered out-of-school experiences that empower them to discover and cultivate their talents, passions, skills, and identities. With them, Intonation participates in events focused on teens and encourages creativity and connections to other folks in the community who are doing positive youth development.
Intonation partners with Chicago Public Schools public and charter schools to provide programs both during and after the school day. Additionally, we partner with organizations like After School Matters, Embarc, Communities in Schools Chicago, and Youth Guidance to facilitate these relationships.
