Year-long music programs meet weekly both during and after the instructional day at our partner schools.
ALL-STAR BAND
Our All-Star program furthers the growth of young artists with more time, coaching, and performance and advancement opportunities.
SUMMER CAMP
Our summer camps are week- or two-week-long intensives hosted at our space in Kennicott Park.
INTONATION MUSIC YOUTH COUNCIL
IMYC provides leadership and workshop opportunities for youth who want to be involved in student showcase planning.
PARTNERS
EMBARC
We partner with Embarc to give intensive workshops, such as our Sweet Home Chicago band tutorial, where participants learn the components of a band, rehearse in small groups, and perform a song together at the conclusion.
AFTER SCHOOL MATTERS
After School Matters provides teens in Chicago with opportunities to develop their talents and passions through after-school and summer programs. Our After School Matters programming is currently at Dyett High School and UC Woodlawn Charter.
ALL-CITY
In partnership with the All-City music program, students work on writing their own music and beats and record and produce original songs using pro audio gear. They learn how to present their music to the world and publish their music online while getting experience with professional studio equipment and software.
