Josh Fox is a musician, writer, and mixtape enthusiast who lives in Chicago’s Kenwood neighborhood. He makes his living as a nonprofit fundraiser, specializing in partnerships with the corporate sector, and is currently the Associate Director, Corporate Sponsorships and Giving at Loyola University Chicago. His decade-plus experience in Chicago’s nonprofit world has brought extensive experience in the city’s arts and culture sector (Harris Theater) and with organizations that provide out-of-school time programs for youth (Project Exploration and Common Threads). He has served on grant review panels for the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the Illinois Arts Council Agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Arizona, and in 2020 released two records, including an eponymous album with his “global rock” group Don’t Break My House and “Come Back Baby,” a folk/blues record with his parents, Penny and Dave Fox.
